For most of her adult life, Simona has worked with a variety of art mediums including making paper-sculpting very unique 3-dimensional Hamsas. But for the past few years, Simona has discovered a new passion in Glass Art. It took just one introductory course at Fire Glass Studio and Simona was hooked. She has been coming to the studio regularly ever since, and her portfolio of glass art has grown accordingly. Her husband in fact jokes that their house is going to sink into the foundation because of all the beautiful glass work on our walls. Though the studio is more than an hour’s drive each way from her home, Simona is dedicated to her craft and we at Fire Glass are that much richer because of her passion.
