Discover the magical world of glass fusion in this hands-on workshop designed especially for young artists! Children will explore the art of creating beautiful fused glass pieces using a variety of colorful glass materials. Through guided instruction and creative freedom, participants will learn basic techniques such as cutting glass, layering colors, and designing unique patterns.
What Participants Will Learn:
- Basic glass fusion techniques
- How to handle and cut glass safely
- Creative design and composition
- Firing and finishing processes
What They’ll Create: Tea light holder, small dish, hanging plaque sun-catchers, coasters and more. Every piece will be unique, reflecting the individual creativity of its maker.
Materials and Safety: All materials and tools will be provided, including safety goggle. The workshop will be conducted in the library supervised by experienced instructors who will guide the kids through every step of the process.
Days and Time: Eight sessions are scheduled at the library every Thursday from 2:35 PM to 3:35 PM : 08/22, 29 09/5, 12,19,26 10/10,17 (No class October 3rd)
