“Parallel to my love of science, I have always had a passion for the arts, especially those that deal with color and texture.” began Vergine, “The brilliance and colors of glass, and the ability to manipulate it through various techniques to achieve dramatic effects fascinate me. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE every phase of working with glass: from designing to cutting, composing and firing. It’s exciting and magical. I’m hooked. “What I like about fused glass is it allows me to go outside the lines to create beautiful organic flowers. Nature is my palate and I plan to explore all the possibilities. It’s never dull-always exciting and I feel there are many ways of creating beautiful things. There just never seems to be enough time in the day though.”
